Sarel Visagie is an education and training consultant actively involved in Higher Education and Further Education and Training focussing on management development, financial skills development and fleet management.

Sarel holds an M.Com degree in Strategic Management, with a broad background spanning 20 years in operations management, training, strategic marketing and product development mostly spent in the asset finance, fleet management and transport industries.

Sarel held the position as Academic Head: School of Fleet Management at Lyceum College between 2004 and 2008 and is currently appointed as the training and education consultant to the Southern African Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association (SAVRALA). He also holds various qualifications in the Education, Training and Development field and is a qualified ETDP SETA assessor, registered with the Services Seta as assessor against a number of business and finance related unit standards.

Haarhoff Barnard holds a B.Com degree from the University of Pretoria majoring in Marketing Management and Economics. Haarhoff gained extensive motor industry experience since 1997 working with the ABSA vehicle and asset finance division before joining Ford Financial Services in 2000 responsible for new business development and training.

In 2003 Haarhoff joined General Motors on the sales operational and fleet side of the business and progressed to the position of Sales Planning manager responsible for forecasting and long term planning. In 2007 Haarhoff started his new venture as fleet management trainer and consultant.

Jacques Brummer is currently completing his dissertation on "Humanitarian Fleet Management" for his Masters in Business Administration. He has over 16 years experience in fleet management, 14 of which were in the commercial sector in various leadership capacities. The last 2 years he has focused on bringing commercial best practices in fleet management to the aid and development sector as World Visions International's - Fleet Management Coordinator for Africa.

Michelle Crawford holds a Road Transport Diploma from Rand Afrikaans University. Michelle gained broad fleet management experience working with Imperial Fleet Services from 1988 to 2005. She is a registered facilitator and assessor of training and also manages her own business providing training and associated services.

Michelle has worked with us as presenter on a number of fleet management training programmes, including the delivery of training at Absa Vehicle Management Solutions, Avis Fleet Services and EQSTRA Fleet Management.

We have appointed Michelle as Skills Development Facilitator and she is also our preferred provider to compile Workplace Skills Plans.

Theo Coetzee holds qualifications in business, tax and transport economics from Rand Afrikaans University and is also a Project Management Professional. Theo has extensive experience in fleet management and risk management gained at Toyota SA, WesBank and Standard Bank. He consults to the banking industry and is actively involved in rolling out new projects at one of the four major banks in South Africa.

We have appointed Theo as advisor to Mobilitas in fleet and transport research projects and lecturer in Project Management.

Dr. Hennie Scheepers holds a D.Litt et Phil (Psychology) from Rand Afrikaans University. Dr. Scheepers held various positions in the higher education environment and gained extensive experience in the management of academic programmes as well as the management of research projects in Private Higher Education. He has also assisted countless individuals seeking career development guidance through his work in this field.

We have appointed Dr. Scheepers as advisor to Mobilitas to ensure academic integrity of our programmes, to assist with various research projects and the development of competency profiles of workers in mobility services.
